EAGLE LAKE ASSOCIATION

FLOOD UPDATES

Prein & Newhof’s completed the Flood Study, which can be found here.

DEQ will send out public notice to those affected property owners.  Texas Township has already setup a forum for this, scheduled for January 16th, 6:30pm at KVCC.

Planning for temporary pumping has been done and a route was identified (map).  Although all ELTA residents granted easement, not everyone on the planned route did.  Engineers now have to plan a new route to pump from Eagle to Crooked.

The next Task Force meeting is scheduled for December 19th, 10:30am at the Township Hall.

OUR PURPOSE

  • Improve, Maintain, and Protect Eagle Lake

  • Encourage Communication, Cooperation, and Understanding between all Lake users

  • Provide Community Awareness through Safety Programs

  • Control and Prevent Water Pollution and Improve the Condition of the Lake

  • Raise the Level of Awareness of the Public about Significant Lake Issues

We have about 320 parcels on the lake, or about 300 potential members  The cost is a low annual fee of $35 per parcel.  The more members we have the better we can band together to protect and improve the environment of Eagle Lake and enhance our property values.
